The Northlakes Dojo first opened in September 2014 by Sensei Chris Elder in the Lake Haven Shopping Centre Complex and relocated to new huge premises at 5 Botham Close Charmhaven in September 2016.

Northlakes Black Belt Martial Arts caters for children, adults and families in fostering skill development, a positive outlook,  inner confidence, self-discipline, fitness, and respect.

In addition to karate classes, we offer kickboxing and traditional weapons training.  

We also have a great national and international competition pathway for our students.  

The school does much work for the community by teaching at local schools, self-defence seminars for women and children and demonstrations in the public eye. All instructors, assistant instructors and staff undergo a safe working with children check to ensure our children’s safety.
